Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. The Taylor-Joy family was a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
