Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as one of the members of the band One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own group, White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performances. Though he's been attracted to the arts, he aspired to become an lawyer or physical therapist. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. The group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which helped them become one of the top contenders for winning the competition. Despite this, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
