Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian (Canadian-American) is a feminist media critic also a speaker who is Canadian. Feminist Frequency is a website where you can find videos and other commentary on the representation of women in popular media and popular. Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian-American blogger and media critic who has been awarded awards in her field, is a feminist blogger. Feminist Frequency an online platform dedicated to education, which examines female roles in pop culture, is run by Sarkeesian. Dispelling stereotypes of women is her main focus. She also seeks to bring attention to concerns like the issue of targeting and bullying of women on the internet. Sarkeesian graduated with a master's degree in political and social thinking at York University. As a public speaker, she is extremely sought-after as she has appeared at TEDxWomen XOXO, TEDxWomen and United Nations Broadband Working Group. She was a fan of the gender issue and feminist movements since the age of a child. As of 2009, as she was still studying at a university, Sarkeesian founded the website Feminist Frequency. The woman was determined and was planning to launch a web series that would examine the role of gender within games. In the end, she came across herself as the victim of an internet harassment campaign. The harassment, however, did not deter her. She was only able to strengthen her position reputation as a feminist journalist. Sarkeesian has been awarded numerous awards in recognition of her many prominent contributions to the field of feministism. Anita Sarkeesian has been a journalist for a long time and is the founder of Feminist Frequency, an educational non-profit that explores female representations of popular culture.
