Amber Benson hails from the United States and is a performer, actor, writer/singer/director. Her most famous role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she has directed, produced and performed in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an artist of distinction.
